We are a diverse group. Some of us may have adult children who have moved away, some have children who have moved back home again, some are married, divorced, widowed, single. The one thing we have in common is that we want to meet other women of our age who will both laugh and cry with us.

I have found, though - since my diagnosis in Feb 2011 that there are support groups in the area offering information, counseling, etc -- but I haven't found one that addressesthe issue of the need to just take a break from the whole ordeal for awhile, and have a little fun or laughs.
